Delaina has lived in Michigan since 1990, where she met her husband, and was married in 1997. She and her husband have been raising their three children, all young adults now, while she has been a homemaker, teacher, and an aspiring novelist. Her family has played an instrumental part in her writing styles. Delaina has used her life experiences for her inspiration, and writing, with inspiration from God and she endeavors to show that in her stories as she expresses her romantic side.
Delaina writes in such a way that the reader can feel the emotions that the characters are feeling and perhaps draw them closer to God in the process. When writing, her desire is to inspire her readers to know that God is in their everyday lives. To use her creative talent and imagination to bring to life the characters in the stories and books.
